CPR 2-28-2012 PET PEACE TALKS RENEW, SHOW PROGRESS
Perhaps inspired by the realization that the universe of readers of the CPR had expanded due to the calistropetreport.blogspot.com web site, Jay Catsby reached
out to Lady Emma and set up another historic meeting at 540 Paddock.
The ostensible purpose of the meeting was to re-divide the world in a way that made sense, as at the last conference both sides received all the territory south of the Hancock Parallel (the intersection of East Main Street and Paddock Avenue, where the Hancock Pharmacy is located), and no provision was made for all the territory north of the Hancock Parallel, which technically included the pet rich regions of Schenectady and East Granby. At one point the talks broke down, when Jay Catsby insisted that Baltimore Maryland was north of the Hancock Parallel, and Lady was forced to turn her back and drag her butt on the bedcovers in a negotiating maneuver designed to show her contempt of Jay Catsby's understanding of geography.
However, Lady was dragged back to the table upon the promise that she could display to Catsby the modified Pet Haka that she had been practicing. (Photo 3). The negotiating session stretched into the late hours of the morning, until ultimately your reporter was forced to abandon his reporting and go in to work. The results of the marathon session will be further detailed later in the week.
